Cookies & browser storage
A cookie is a small value a website or its infrastructure can store in your browser and receive on later requests. Browser session storage is separate: this site uses it to remember whether you paused motion. In-memory demo state is separate again and disappears on reload.
Cloudflare security cookies
Cloudflare delivers and protects evehq.tech. Its security features may set cookies such as cf_clearance after a successful browser challenge, or other cookies depending on enabled protection and the request. These help evaluate traffic and maintain security decisions. The cookies you receive and their lifetimes depend on Cloudflare’s current configuration. Learn more in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.
Your motion preference
The key eve.motion in sessionStorage remembers Pause or Resume in the current tab so the preference follows navigation. It does not contain your name, email, or message and is not sent to an EVE backend. Clearing session storage or starting a new browser session can reset it. Your system’s reduced-motion preference is respected by default.
Interactive samples & contact drafts
Task changes, sample reply edits, fictional memories, and contact-form drafts stay in the page’s memory. Sample changes reset on reload. Your browser’s autofill or history settings may restore form values. Preparing a contact email passes the draft to your chosen email app; sending it is your decision and follows that app’s own storage practices.
Advertising & analytics
The website code does not install advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or an analytics SDK. Cloudflare can process traffic and security information as part of operating the site. If EVE adds optional tracking in the future, this policy will be updated and any required consent will be requested before it is used.
Managing storage & questions
You can use your browser settings to inspect, delete, or block cookies and site storage for evehq.tech. Blocking security cookies may cause repeated Cloudflare checks or prevent a request from completing. Use the on-page Pause control to stop decorative motion.
